PENDAMPINGAN GURU SMK DALAM MENDESAIN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS RISET: THEORY OF DIDACTICAL SITUATION DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika bermakna menitikberatkan pada siswa sebagai subjek pembelajaran. Namun, merancang pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru matematika SMK di Kabupaten Karawang cenderung berorientasi pada materi pembelajaran. Kendala tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain: belum diterapkannya hasil penelitian dan hambatan-hambatan pembelajaran dalam mendesain pembelajaran serta kurangnya pemahaman guru tentang merancang pembelajaran berbasis riset. Pendampingan guru matematika SMK dalam mendesain pembelajaran berbasis riset dilakukan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dengan dua agenda utama, yaitu: workshop mendesain pembelajaran berbasis riset dan forum diskusi kelompok mengenai implementasi desain pembelajaran berbasis theory of didactical situation. Tahapan workshop terdiri dari tiga tahap: pra-kegiatan, yang bertujuan untuk lebih mengidentifikasi kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh calon peserta workshop dan kesepemahaman bersama mengenai silabus; pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop dan forum group discussion, pemaparan materi oleh tiga narasumber dan penugasan peserta workshop; dan, pasca kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk mengamati dan dampak yang dihasilkan dari workshop tersebut. Selain itu, dilakukan forum diskusi kelompok untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta workshop secara maksimal. Hasil pendampingan menyimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru matematika SMK dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis riset.
